Potassium Iodide powder
Potassium iodide is an ionic salt and a metal halide composed of potassium and iodide. It occurs as hexahedral crystals, either transparent and colourless or somewhat opaque and white, or as a white, granular powder. It is stable in dry air but slightly hygroscopic in moist air.
