Calcium citrate is a salt of calcium and citric acid. Calcium citrate tetrahydrate contains four molecules of water, when dried it contains NLT 97.5% and NMT 100.5% of Ca3(C6H5O7)2. This is a white crystalline powder that is very slightly soluble in water and insoluble in alcohol.
