Lactobacillus acidophilus is a probiotic powder standardised with 50 billion CFU/ g. Lactobacillus acidophilus is produced when a small amount of the probiotic strain is added to the nutrient rich growth media and grown to a selected harvest point using proprietary fermentation process. Once the fermentation process is complete, the residual nutrients and water is removed by centrifugal process from the bacteria. This process helps to obtain a high potency probiotic strain culture. The probiotic strain culture is freeze dried to remove any further water and resulted product is testing for quality and potency. This is an off-white or light yellow powder.
